NASTAD and Hep B United Webinar for Hepatitis Awareness Month
Hepatitis Awareness Month is an opportunity every May to highlight the importance of addressing hepatitis. We are reminded that millions of Americans live with chronic viral hepatitis and as many as three quarters of them are unaware of their status and are not connected with care or treatment. Health department and community partners raise awareness about hepatitis through activities such as poster contests, sponsored walks, screenings, educational presentations, proclamations, meetings with elected officials, health fairs, and testing events.

NASTAD and Hep B United will host a webinar on April 25, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 PM ET to discuss different strategies to raise awareness about hepatitis; CDC’s Division of Viral Hepatitis will share resources that are available to promote testing; and health departments and community partners will provide examples of past events and plans for this year’s Hepatitis Awareness Month.

Apr 25, 2017 1:00 PM in Eastern Time (US and Canada)

Webinar is over, you can not register now. If you have any questions, please contact Webinar host: Alyssa Kitlas.
